Craft It On is a free new community project aiming to help people through this difficult time. We’re connecting older and children together to help: 

• people feel less alone by building valuable connections; 

• lift spirits and spread some positivity at this difficult time; 

• build a stronger community; 

• improve wellbeing through opportunities to be creative and share with others.

What’s it all about?  

Craft It On is a fun, free and creative project for people of all ages to take part in. Children and older people are making simple gifts and writing cards about themselves (all provided for free by The SpaceCraft) to send to each other – spreading joy and smiles, as well as forming valued connections. Older people could be living in a care home, hospice, or be in hospital.

The older person and the child are sent a free kit with a simple craft activity in, as well as a card for them to write a message to the other person. Once ready, they can be posted back to The SpaceCraft and sent on to their receiver. And you never know, you might just receive a handcrafted gift and a message back!
