Sprout Stories

Working with residents at an Extra Care Home in Brixton South London, we together created a range of sell-out fun and festive pompom sprouts Christmas decorations!

Makers had a range of health conditions including dementia, physical disabilities and learning disabilities and supported each other through all aspects of the project.

When asked in a survey for their feedback, the top three answers from makers were: 

• Being part of this group helps me feel less isolated; 

• I am proud of what I have learnt and made; 

• I have gained more confidence in what I can do.
